Dr. Liangbing Wang is a Professor at State Key Laboratory for Powder Metallurgy, School of Material Science and Engineering, Central South University. He received his B.S. degree in chemistry in 2013 from School of Chemistry and Material Science, University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). He also acquired his Ph.D. degree in physical chemistry in Nov. 2017 from Hefei National Laboratory for Physical Sciences at the Microscale, USTC. Since Dec. 2017, He joined Central South University as a professor. His research focuses on the interdisciplinary area across material science, chemistry, physicals, and engineering to develop superior catalysts based on nonferrous metals. Up to now, 34 papers have been published in prestigious journals including Nature Nanotechnol., Nature Energy, Chem, Nature Commun., JACS, Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Nano Lett., Adv. Sci., Nano Energy, etc. He also commits to apply nonferrous-metal catalysts in chemical manufacturing and environmental protection by cooperating with chemical industry enterprises.
        His recent honors including Excellent Young Scholars of Hunan Province (2019), Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award of Chinese Academy of Sciences (2019), High-level Talents for Innovate of Hunan Province (2018), Special Prize of Baosteel Excellent Scholarship (2017), attending 67th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting (2017), and President’s Scholarship of Chinese Academy of Sciences (2016).
